| Brief Profile | Prof. Meritorious Dr. Seema Munaf is in service at Institute of Clinical Psychology, University of Karachi since 11-02-1986 with teaching, research and clinical experience of more than 31 years. She was awarded PhD in 1991 and obtained certificate of completion of Commonwealth AMDISA (SAARC recognized body) Postdoctoral fellowship research related to Higher Educational Management in 2008. In 1999 she became Assistant to the Director and from 2001 up to 2005 she remained Director of the Institute of Clinical Psychology. She was an editor of Pakistan journal of psychology from 2001 up to 2005. At present she is on editorial board/consulting editor/paper reviewer of various journals. Ten students have completed their PhD research and Didactic Analysis and three have their MPhil research under her supervision .Work of number of MPhil and PhD students is also in process. Her publications includes 74 full papers in journals of international repute and proceeding of International foreign conferences, 02 books and few articles of public interest. Her professional affiliation as a member is with number of literary bodies such as, American Psychological Association, Australian Psychological Society, Pakistan Psychological Association, Pakistan Association of Clinical Psychologist, International Society for Interpersonal Acceptance Rejection, International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology, and International Economics Development Research Center. In 2011 she became first elected President Sindh and Baluchistan Chapter of Pakistan Association of Clinical Psychologist (PACP). Her tenure lasted for four years. |
